  1. Understanding what a Montessori approach for dementia support and care is
  2. How to plan for and utilize seasoning cueing in everyday activity programming
  3. The why in Montessori programming and seasonal cueing

Bio:

Christabel’s professional experience has included home care, adult day programs, independent living, assisted living, personal care, memory care, memory support, skilled long-term care, short term rehab care, for profit and non-profit senior living organizations with a focus on engagement, memory care/support, programming, behavioral health, mental health, intellectual disabilities, and education and leadership for senior living professionals.  She is also a frequent speaker both in person and virtually to audiences.  In addition to working in skilled long-term care as a Life Enrichment Director, Christabel has a consulting and education business.  She lives in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania with her family.  She enjoys reading, country drives, traveling, professional research, walking, shopping, cooking, relaxing, spending time outdoors, service, and spending time with her family and friends.
