Bio:

Dan Mortensen was raised in Alaska where his family operated a commercial salmon fishing business. After college, Dan worked for 30 years in executive roles in higher education administration including Student Affairs, Finance, Administration, and Development. Dan has a PhD in Education. For the past nine years, he has served as the Vice President of Operations for Tandem Living, which operates three senior living communities in Lancaster, PA: Trillium Place, Woodcrest Villa, and Calvary Homes. Dan and his wife, Shelli, have two daughters and four grandchildren. He enjoys road cycling, and recently published his first novel, Outside, which is a story set in the Alaska wilderness.
